FAT  8  CONFERENCE  RECRUITING  CENTER

The  FAT8  Conference  was  created  to  provide  coaches  with  an  immersive  play  style  that  includes  the  pageantry  and

atmosphere  of  real  college  football.  At  the  close  of  each  season  coaches  of  the  FAT8  Conference  will  compete  for  new  recruits

with  which  to  improve  their  rosters.  Seniors  will  graduate  and  new  freshmen  will  arrive  at  campus  for  the  first  time.  The

Recruiting  Center  Rules-Set  or  (RCRS)  is  designed  to  immerse  coaches  in  the  World of  the  FAT8  as  well  as  to  balance  teams  and

prevent  any  one  team  from  stacking  their  rosters  while  other teams suffer with poor recruiting.

ONE MAJOR RULE IN THE FAT8 REGARDING BASES
An athletes base is part of that athletes personality. Once an athletes base has been decided for that player, it may never be changed during the season. If that athlete receives a season ending injury that base is lost to that team. it stays with the injured player.
In Addition, Coaches can not add new players or new bases to their roster during the season.

Recruiting is intended to allow coaches the chance to recruit according to the needs of that school and to ensure that every team is unique. In the FAT8 We try to AVOID cookie cutter squads (Teams that are configured the same way across the board). We find the fun and challenge of playing with an unknown team challenging and good fun. Recruits will be radical in poses which we all find very fun. Having players that are not perfectly weighted in the center of the platform we find very exciting and it adds to the unique World that we've created. Flavor!!!

ATHLETE SCHOOL INTEREST

During the FAT8 playoffs high school seniors will pick their top 3 favorite FAT8 schools. These picks will be ranked from #1 being that prospects top pick to #3 being at the bottom of their interest list. Prosects that earn combine invitations from schools in their top 3 will earn bonus points for those schools during the training camp.

HIGH SCHOOL PROSPECTS SENIOR GAME

At the end of each season 33 high school seniors will have the honor to play in the FAT8 Senior Bowl. These high school prospects will get their chance to impress the schools and coaches of the Fat8 Northern and Southern Divisions. This game is very important for these 33 prosects because it will determine if the will get Combine Invitations from any of their Top 3 schools that they picked. Prospects that do not perform as well as the College Scouts expect risk losing vital bonus points to their Top 3 schools or worse still,............... receiving no invitations to the FAT8 Combines at all!!! OUCH!!!!!

INVITATIONS TO THE FAT8 RECRUITING COMBINES

High School prospects that earn an invitation to the FAT8 Combines will have a chance to impress the coaches of the FAT8 and earn a scholarship  to one of their Top 3 schools or get picked up by another school. This is always a very fun and interesting part of the FAT8 world because coaches also get a chance to steal key prospects away from rival schools.

SCHOLARSHIP OFFERS

Each FAT8 School is allowed 9 Scholarship offers and these have to be used wisely. Prospects will fight hard to reach this stage and earn a spot on their favorite team.

REDSHIRTING PLAYERS

Once a prosect has earned a scholarship to play at one of the FAT8 schools that coach has the option of Redshirting that athlete. The advantage in Redshirting is to allow that player one season to train without you going over your 55 player roster limit. In addition, Redshirting a player allows that coach time to decide what role that player will play on that team and what base he will use. RESHIRT PLAYERS MUST WAIT TO PLAY IN THE NEXT SEASON.

Walk-on's

In the FAT8, prospects are ranked with Stars. 1 Star is the lowest rank and a 6 Star is the top recruiting rank. Ranking is done according to an athletes performance during the skills combine.
